I started my career as a Saturday girl thirteen years ago, working in my families business - Giuseppe's of Bath. I then decided to pursue my passion by studying hairdressing at Bath Tech College as an apprenticeship where I achieved my NVQ level 1 and 2.

I then continued working at Giuseppe's of Bath as a fully qualified stylist and built up a wide and varied client base.

I wanted to expand my knowledge of colouring, wedding hair, and hair extensions so recently I took a L'oreal colour diploma in London. I then studied Racoon wedding hair and Micro Weft extensions in Warwick, which provided me a strong platform from which I have since built on with all of my bridal clients.

I love my job and look forward to working with my regular clients as I have built a real rapport with them. In addition, I also love meeting and working with new clients, both male and female, to achieve there dream style.

Giuseppe

Giuseppe started as a Saturday boy for an Italian Barber called Bruno Christina at the age of 12. His next hairdressing position was at a Ladies Salon at the age of 16 but his reputation for hard work and quick learning was noticed by another Barber called Gianni Vitale. Gianni approached Giuseppe and offered him a position in his Salon, within six months Giuseppe had his own chair and started to build his own clientele, many of whom are still with him today. Giuseppe never lost his passion for learning and later expanded into ladies.

As the barbers where he worked did not encourage women styling, Giuseppe opened his own salon where he accommodated both ladies and men. His passion has never diminished. His expert cutting has pleased many people and every client is as important as the last. Giuseppe is very proud of his salon and his border-bottom who offer customers a comfortable welcoming environment and endeavour to please all clients.

I started my career in hair dressing as soon as I left school. I attended Brunel College in Bristol as an apprentice where I achieved my NVQ qualifications. I then worked in No5 Hairdressing for 22 years where I gained alot of valuable experience. I have now joined the team at Giuseppe's part time where I perform all aspects of hairdressing from perming and colouring to cutting.

After taking part in work experience in a hair salon whilst at school, I knew instantly I wanted to start a career in hairdressing and so started working as a Saturday girl. After I left school, I continued to study at Bath College as an apprentice where I completed my NVQ levels 1,2 and 3. After working in the field for 20 years, I have recently joined the team at Giuseppe's of Bath. I am competent in all aspects of cutting, colouring, perming, blow-drying and setting for all ages.

I started hair dressing in the late eighties and have since achieved a long-standing career in perming, colouring, cutting and styling. I completed my training in Bristol at Brunel College and as an apprentice at No5 hair salon. I later became full time stylist but more recently, I have started a family so am currently working part time at Giuseppe’s of Bath. I find the job very enjoyable and have a good client base that has followed me over the years.
